The Winds Of Change

The winds of change have begun on Pacidlux as well as PDSL. During our meeting last night I could not help but to get the sensation and feeling that things might be ok now. Things might actually get on track. The commanders will be able to come on line and not have a bunch of IMs about his and her problems that can be taken care of without admin intervention. It was a good feeling leaving the meeting area last night.

 

I am not kidding myself here, as I know that there is always silence before the storm. I know that there are a few that are and will be upset at the changes in the structure that will take place on Tuesday May 27, 2008. I know that when I say that the changes are not directed at any one person they will not believe us and think this was a punishment towards them, or they have been singled out. This is not the case. As I said sometimes change is good, and in this case it is.

 

 

Pacidlux is also feeling those changes as we had our real first admin meeting about the sim. Many topics were discussed and many great ideas came to light as well. It was a great thing for me to see all the admin sitting down and talking about things, it was so great it almost brought a tear to my eye. I will not spoil too much of the surprise for Pacidlux, but there are many good changes coming. New things such as:

 

The new underwater living and observations center is at the north end of the sim. Visitors can swim in to the entry tube, drop off their scuba gear then continue down the hall until they come to the main dome. The area is large enough for many people to gather and talk about what ever you like. Inside the dome will be many interesting things to read as well as some games to play while just hanging out at the bottom of the ocean.

 

The beach is being renovated once again, but will have a new addition to it. Celestial Beach Club is coming back. For those that were on Pacidlux many moons ago will know what I am talking about when I say Celestial Beach Club is coming back. Its going to be great. We have my Bro Generaal and Little Sis Nickie taking care of that, setting up and so on. It’s going to be great. There is nothing these two can’t do once they get started.

 

Other changes include the remodel of the shopping area, many good ideas coming in there. Waiting for Bro Eddie to come up with his plans for it so we can get a visual on what he was talking about :p.

 

 

Anyway! So before any changes take place, please pardon our mess if you visit Pacidlux. Many good things are coming.
